The website apexartisionline.com and the services described on it are provided by the company “ΕΥΑ ΚΑΡΑΝΑΣΙΟΥ ΚΩΣΤΑΣ ΛΑΧΑΝΑΣ Ι.Κ.Ε.” (Greek private company), trading as “APEX-ARTISI ONLINE” (full details above). Contact: apexartisionline@gmail.com. By using the website and the services, you accept these terms.

2. Nature of the service

The company provides psychologist services (one-to-one and group psychological support sessions) and peer support services from partners with personal lived experience and training, who are not psychologists and do not provide psychological sessions. Everything takes place remotely, by video conference (Zoom). The services are supportive, advisory and educational in nature.

The company does not provide medical, nursing or pharmaceutical services, does not provide accommodation or lodging, does not operate a unit or programme within the meaning of Articles 51 and 58 of Law 4139/2013, and does not operate a Mental Health Unit within the meaning of Article 11 of Law 2716/1999. It does not issue certificates. Its services do not replace a medical opinion or medical care and are not intended for emergencies. In case of immediate danger to life, call 166 or 112. Suicide intervention helpline, 24 hours: 1018.

Sessions take place remotely, with the explicit consent of the person concerned, who chooses a safe and private space for the connection. Sessions are not recorded.

3. Sessions, bookings and payments

  • The first one-to-one session lasts 50 minutes. It is a session for listening and information. It is not a medical service or a psychological assessment. It is held with a psychologist or with a peer support partner of the team, depending on availability. The content is the same, whoever holds it. Before the session, we email you who will see you. We also tell you whether they are a psychologist or a peer support partner. If you definitely want a psychologist, reply to that email. If no psychologist is available at the time you chose, we offer you another time. If none suits you, we refund the full amount.
  • Booking and payment are made online, by card, at the time of booking, through the booking platform. The cost of each service, including VAT where applicable, is shown on the booking page before payment.
  • You can cancel or change the time up to 24 hours before the session, free of charge. If a session does not take place through our fault, or for a technical reason not attributable to the person concerned, it is moved to a new time free of charge.
  • Right of withdrawal: as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason, through the Withdrawal page or by email to the company. By booking a session that takes place within this period, you expressly request that the service begins before the withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that, once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal ends.
  • The terms and cost of the monthly support cycle are agreed individually, after the first session, by mutual agreement, and are confirmed in writing.
  • The services are intended for adults only.

4. Taking part in the groups

The groups are small and closed. Taking part requires your camera to be on. You may take part under a different name. Members commit in writing to keep confidential what they hear in the group, not to record or photograph the sessions, and not to contact each other outside the group setting. In case of a breach, the matter is discussed with the facilitator and may lead to leaving the group. Peer support partners with personal lived experience may take part in or facilitate group sessions, under the supervision of a psychologist and with a written confidentiality commitment; they do not provide psychological sessions.

5. Confidentiality

What you share with the team is kept confidential and is not disclosed to third parties. The only exceptions are the cases provided for by law, in particular an immediate danger to life and an order of a public prosecutor or a court. More in the Privacy policy.

6. Liability

The course and outcome of the support work depend on each person’s participation and choices. The company is not liable for technical interruptions caused by third-party providers or by force majeure, nor for the content of external websites it refers to.

7. Intellectual property

The content of the website (texts, structure, visual design) belongs to the company and is protected by Greek and European law. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

8. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Greek law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence or of the company’s registered office have jurisdiction, at the consumer’s choice. Complaints are submitted to apexartisionline@gmail.com and are answered within 15 days. Before any legal action, you can contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή, synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
